Possibly good news! I received an email yesterday from a man and woman in Spain who said they are interested in volunteering in the village during April and March. One is an English teacher, the other a nurse. If they come down it would be a incredible help with the efforts.

My first Amazon Pueblo presentation date
Mark it on your calendars! On Thursday March 15 I will be giving a presentation on the Amazon Pueblo project at the Rockland Public Library.
The talk will be held at 6:30pm in the community room. It will include pictures from the Amazon, sustainability problems and possible solution for the village, and my efforts to use social media to spread the word and gain support....
The name Amazon Pueblo has been Trade Marked!
Yep. After a bit of Internet research I have found that by placing a TM after the AMAZON PUEBLO name, I have the rights to its use. As of today 12/16/2001, no other entities were listed in the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS), of The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
